Welcome to Runner’s Realm! We are a realistic wolf role-play; that is brand new.

[[ Current Season: Spring ]] [[ Mating: Yes ]] [[ Birthing: No ]] [[ Weather: Sunny and Warm ]]

In the regions of the Boreal Forest, lies a large valley that stretches across several kilometres of protected land. Few humans have stepped foot into the valley, for fear of what they might find; for the basin is home to all assortments of critters and of coarse, wolves.

This valley has been proclaimed as, “The Runner’s Realm” by many of the inhabiting creatures because it always seems that new faces are always appearing in and around the valley’s lands. It was once said that the great wolf had kept, and set aside these lands for wolves alike. Many of who, still make a living off of the valley’s graciousness.

There are four major packs in which wolves are allowed to join, and live out their lives in. The Cerise Vale is home to the Alpha Dezi, and his peculiar ways. Wolves say that he is solitary, quiet and strange; but they follow him for his intelligence, and strength. Then there is the Azure Cove pack, lead by Amapeli. Wolves will often come here for a fun filled live with many promises of good fortune and wealth. The Sunset Peak Pack, are a group of wolves lead under the rules of Naomi herself. Many honour her for her promptness and intellect, but frown upon her haughty and arrogant ways. Finally, there is the Cinder Forest Pack. It is a pack made of wolves, whom are thrown upon the valley’s dominance and evil deeds. They are spiteful and revengeful, and have recently “mutinied” against their Alpha.

Packs are trying to take advantage of this mutiny and use the empty pack lands as extra territory. However, wolves that are/ aren’t part of the pack are using this chance to become the new Alpha.

A new race has begun.

Packlands
[ ]Ashen Woodlands
There is a small clearing protected by a large poplar forest in the middle of the valley. The clearing is often used as a meeting spot for all the Alphas of the four packs. Treaties and wars are declared here between the neighbouring packs.

[ ]The Orchid Orchard
The Orchid Orchard is a sanctuary for young pups that belong to any of the packs, to come and play. It is a peaceful place, were the young are watched over by the elders and pack members. Dezi, the Cerise Pack Alpha, often will patrol this area as it is on the outskirts of his territory.

[ ]Cerise Vale Packlands (2 sub-boards)
Just a few kilometres away from the sore of the Azure Cove lays a small vale. A thick glossy field of grass covers its grounds, and very few trees can be found. The pack’s Alpha Dezi, lives near a large rock that is located near the centre of the pack’s territory. Many wolves believe that the bolder had something to do with his past, but aren’t certain. Generally the wolves in this pack are shy and courteous; seldom use words to solve their problems.

[ ]Azure Cove Packlands (2 sub-boards)
The Azure Cove is a vibrant freshwater bay, surrounded by a large green forest on one side and open Ocean on the other. The Azure Pack makes it’s home in the forest around the bay and uses the bay it self for a source of food, recreation and cleaning purposes. Most of the time the wolves in The Azure Pack are kind and generous; but because of the recent conflict between other packs, they aren’t taking kindly to newcomers.

[ ]Sunset Peak Packlands (2 sub-boards)
On the outskirts of Cerise Vale, lies a large mountain proclaimed by many wolves as Sunset Mountain. Half of the mountain is part of Sunset Pack’s territory; the rest is a neutral area. Stories say that long ago the entire mountain had belonged to Sunset Pack, but because of a massive war between the four packs it was spilt and created into a neutral zone. Rumour has it that the Alphas are planning to take back to mountain. Even though the territory is split, many of the pack’s wolves still use the neutral area for their dens; the pack members can be a little arrogant and haughty sometimes.

[ ]Cinder Forest Packlands (2 sub-boards)
On account of a recent “mutiny” that Alpha of Cinder Forest is no more; many wolves are trying to take control of the Cinder Forest Pack. The Cinder Forest is named after it’s burned terrain. A recent fire had devastated this area of Cascaded Basin, leaving few trees un-burnt. Ashes line the ground and very little vegetation is left. The wolves that make their home here amongst the ashes aren’t the type that would give away their meals for free. Many of them have force-bred or murdered other wolves before and have a history of being insane.

Forced Neutral Areas
[ ]Sunset Mountain
The other half of Sunset Mountain is used as a neutral area. Loner wolves should beware however, as many of the Sunset Pack members make a living here.

[ ]The Aarav Caverns
The Aarav Caverns consists of a series of small caves, and caverns. If there weren’t such an awful use for this place, then many would consider these caves as a rather stunning work of natural art. However, many of the rouges and assassins will meet each other here, to discuss their matter of business.

[ ]Aaditya Grove
A thick layer of moss and dead trees litter the ground of this area, while the rest of the space is filled with vibrant deciduous trees. There is very little room to lie down in-between the trees as the result of the overgrown vegetation, however many small creatures like rabbits and squirrels make their homes in and amongst the ground. If your small enough, this area would make a great snack stop.

[ ]Crystal Caverns
((Warning: Breeding board))
Crystal Caverns is a large network of caverns that stretches for several miles underground. Its walls are mostly made of crystal and other rare gemstones, which gives it a luminous feel. A small stream flows through the caverns.

[ ]Fallen Fissure
Fallen Fissure is a large fissure that seems to appear out of nowhere; it has caught many a wolf of guard and has caused even more to suffer a greater fate. Its name wasn’t a creative imagining after all. Because the fissure is surrounded by flat grassland it has an abundance of prey, and most wolves come to this area to hunt when their stomachs are grumbling.

[ ]The Golden Oasis
The golden Oasis is a small fresh water spring that is surrounded by green foliage and soft sand. It received its name from the golden light that shines down on the oasis making everything glow gold. The openings between the branches of the trees provide a great view of the bright sky. It is a great place for wolves to take a rest and forget about their worries.

[ ]Shape Shifter Lake
((Warning: Battle Board))
Shape Shifter Lake is a large gloomy lake that spreads across the horizon. It is almost always overcast and raining, and as you get closer to the shore it becomes much colder.
Few wolves have peered into the dark water; because legend has it that their reflection will shift to and show something horrible from their past.

[ ]The Sparkling Stream
The sparkling stream is a small stream that etches its way into the crystal caverns. Its name is derived from the crystal clear water that seems to glisten as it makes it’s way down the rocks into the Cavern. Many wolves come from far and wide to veiw the romantic stream, and mabye find that special wolf.

[ ]Alaa Ravine
This large ravine is in the farther a most region of the valley; even in the summer it accumulates quite a lot of snow. Wolves will often travel here to cool off from the hot summer’s sun, but can’t stay too long as very little food is available here. There is a small river that runs through the bottom of the ravine, it is normally frozen over except in the summer when enough ice has broken apart so any wolf can take a drink.

[ ]The Aadhira River
The Aadhira River is a large, old and fast flowing river. It circulates throughout most of the realm, supplying the plants and animals’ need for water. There is one particular bank however where the water slows enough for wolves to cross the river safely. Fish (such as salmon) often gather in this area for spawning season (spring).
Moderators: Lindsay, Katya, skullz

[ ]Aspen Lake
Aspen lake is a fair sized fresh water lake that is surround by Aspen and Poplar trees. In the summer, the surface of the lake can become polluted with seeds given off from the trees. It is a great place to fish and enjoy a nice swim. For this reason, many Loners will make a living near the water’s edge.

[ ]Balvindra Nook
At first glimpse, Balvindra Nook seems to be a wonderful place to rest and play but it as not at all what it seems. Rouges and loners often past through or live in this area of the vale, many of which don’t appreciate company especially that of wolves joined to a pack. Some of the darkest wolves will often hide in the bushes around the nook: hoping for that perfect chance.

[ ]Cliffside View
The Cliffside is a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunset over the ocean. There are many things to see, but be careful not to slip and fall into the depths below.

[ ]Forsaken Swamp
((Warning: FB Board))
Forsaken Swamp isn’t a very pleasant area to visit. Many rouge wolves make a frequently visit here hoping to find an unsuspecting wolf to take advantage of. Because of the swampy terrain, and the overgrown shrubs it is a difficult area to escape, and an easy area to hide.
Moderators: Lindsay, Katya, skullz

[ ]Healing Springs
A large hot spring with a small island in the middle of it. It is rumoured that a young wolf named Macie, who has the knowledge of healing, lives on the tiny island. But, only a select few have seen her. If you are injured you should come here, call and wait.

[ ]Rocky Beach
A long beach that is mostly made out of rocks, not soft sand, but rocks. Because the water constantly is rising and dropping, the surface of the beach is slippery and easy to fall and hurt your self on. Despite it’s beauty from afar, it can be a real pain to approach.

[ ]Trijagati Meadows
Trijagati Meadows is a large field that is filled with lush grass, colourful flowers and animals. It is a great place for wolves to come to meet each other, play or have a good time. Loners will often use this land as a place to hunt or rest on a beautiful sunny day.
